Sports Facility/Sporting Venue Liquor Licence

23 February 2012

The process for obtaining a licence for a sporting venue under the new Liquor Act is now much simpler than was the case under the former Liquor Act. We act for a number of licensed sports venues in NSW principally ten pin bowling venues.

We have already received numerous enquiries in respect of this type of licence and under the new Liquor Act have obtained licences for a variety of sports venues including the following:-

  • Ten pin bowling centre
  • Indoor sports stadium
  • Squash centre

The process for obtaining such a licence under the new Liquor Act can be much simpler, faster and considerably less expensive than was the case under the former Liquor Act. In most cases the application will be a 1 step rather than a 2 step process as a Community Impact Statement will not be required.

Should you be interested in obtaining such a licence for your sports facility/sports venue please do not hesitate to contact us for an obligation free quote . The first consultation is free.
